BANGOR, MAINE — NOVEMBER 1, 2024 — The Maine Independent News Collaborative (MINC) issued a call for applications from MINC member newsrooms for Infrastructure Fund project grants.
Project grants of up to $25,000 will help independent Maine publishers grow digital capacity and revenue resiliency through improvements to core infrastructure that supports the organizations’ journalism, such as reader revenue technology, reaching audience on new platforms, bringing digital publishing systems to modern standards. Access the application here.
Project grant funding will enable MINC members to implement ideas developed with MINC planning funding received in 2024. The non-newsroom members of the MINC steering committee together with a panel of outside reviewers will score applications and award grants accordingly.
